April 5th - Hollis takes first at regionals!  We are getting settled in at the house.  Lots of sorting!  Buddy has adjusted very well to being a town dog again.  Jasper has been helping Rick by running one of three video cameras at the big production they put on every 2 years called Celebrate The Life.  Starlit and I played and sang for a ladies luncheon in Washburn on Saturday.  Of course Starlit turns 12 on Wednesday and Zion is 5 on Saturday and dad, well we won't say but happy birthday on Friday!

April 12th -Busy week as usual!  Celebrated the Passover with Dave, Nadine and Colt - Starlit turned 12 and Zion turned 5!  Then the Cantata in Washburn Friday evening and Sunday morning.  George came out from Fargo for the weekend and we had a great time with him.  Vanessa fell last Sunday and hurt her leg quite badly.  Bruised but not broken and it is getting better.  It was really nice most of the week and then got cold for the weekend, it was actually on 15 this morning and that is cold for this time of the year.  Had some very small snow flurries but nothing that stuck.  Put up 2 swings in the back yard.

April 19th - Some nice rain this week and some wonderful blessings!  George bought us a wonderful house warming gift (see the pictures on the home page) and Dave did such a wonderful job on repairing our stove that we didn't even recognize it!  Starlit had a party on Saturday with some girl friends to celebrate her birthday and they had a great time.  The family band sang and played for the first time for a dear friend of the families 95th birthday on Sunday and we did good and have a great time!  State speech will be this Saturday so pray that Hollis does his best!

April 26th - Well State speech is over and Hollis did not make the medal rounds in either poetry or story telling.  I went and listened to his poem and it was so good that it brought tears to my eyes!  Needless to say we are very proud of him and the excellent speech season he had!  Ross & Janice came down on Sunday for supper and the evening.  Finally traded in the old van on an even older one!  A 92 Grand Voyager LE with 109K on it - loaded and really in nice shape.
