September 3rd - The wedding in Medora was a lot of fun although we got home really late.  It was really hot also.  Jasper has been working quite a bit at Dan's and the first week of school is over.  It seems weird to have school and then a long weekend right away but I guess that is how they do it.  Vanya is growing and starting to develop a fairly regular pattern for sleeping.  Vanessa is getting geared up to start teaching lessons next week.  Hollis passed another test at his job with Enable so is getting a raise.  He decided that he could not handle 2 full time jobs so his last day with me at Cloverdale was on Friday.  I will miss him!

September 10th - Cool and rainy.  North Dakota weather sure changes fast!  Ross & Janice got back from their trip and John & Darcy are on the way.  George is coming out this weekend to see Vanya and of course it will be Jazmyn's birthday!  She is sure excited about turning 3.  Work continues to be an experience (translate that any way you want!) but I am thankful to God for a job, He is faithful.  Zion is quite interested in science things so we are going to pursue getting him some curriculum that we can use that will incorporate a lot of that.  He is very bright and has a memory like you can't believe.

September 17th - Well, just last week I was thankful for a job and now this week I am thankful to NOT have a job!  In everything give thanks as it says in 1 Thess 5:18 in everything give thanks ; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
NKJV - Cloverdale and I agreed that things were not working out and I was terminated last Tuesday morning at 8:30 so pray for Gods direction.  I have enjoyed some R&R and helping Vanessa out with her classes and attending to some much needed things at home.  George came out to meet Vanya and of course it was Jazmyn's birthday so we had a party!  She had a lot of fun with a princess party.  We sang three times, Friday at 5, Saturday morning at 10 John and Darcy and family got home from their long trip out west so were here for the party for Jazmyn.

September 24th - What a great weekend!  It was in the 90's and we had a parade on Saturday.  Pulled the car trailer with the Galaxie for a float for the Suzuki School and partners up at the High Prairie Arts & Science Center.  Also had Dave, Nadine and Colt over on Sunday for brunch and enjoyed getting together with them.  Sunday was Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement) and the feats of Tabernacles begins this Thursday.  Will be doing some tenting to celebrate that.  I have been strangely at peace without a job and enjoying every minute of it!  I have gotten some things done that had been getting put off.  Please pray for God's guidance for us as we (Vanessa and I) are feeling lead for me to "hang out my shingle" and go into computer consulting (which would of course involve programming - network setup / troubleshooting - websites etc) and pushing the music portion of our lives as well.  More next Monday!
