September 6th - Well so long summer!  Although the weekend had temps in the 90's so it was very summer like.  We did not go camping other than that Zion and I slept on the trampoline Friday night and in the camper on Sunday night.  Jasper spent the whole week at the ranch working with his horse and helping out up there.  He came back on Sunday with Ross & Janice.  We all got together at Norman and Carla's Sunday afternoon as April and her 3 month old baby were up.  Gramma Grace came down also.  Then that evening we had a get together at our place for Austin's birthday.  On Monday afternoon and evening we went out to some friends who live just out of town and met some new families and had good time of fellowship, food, games and music.  Gas is $3.19 here in Bismarck and went up last Wednesday.  Hollis started a full time job with Sykes, a company who provides 24/7 help desk lines for large corporate customers.  They are a world wide company and have had a call center here in Bismarck for several years.

September 12th - Nice weather and gas went down to $2.94 so that was a bit of a help!  I have been taking lunch though and trying to cut back on driving.  The insurance adjuster finally came and looked at the house about the hail we had and there was roof damage.  Have not received all the information yet but that will be coming.  Zion got his hand slammed in the car door on Tuesday morning and we thought it was going to be pretty bad BUT God is good and answered our prayers and it basically lost a little skin but was fine.  He was able to practice his violin that afternoon.  Watched the parade on Saturday and went to some rummage sales.  Picked up a few good deals.

September 19th - Cool weather for the weekend.  We spent all day Saturday (and camped over night) at some home school friends who live out near Nelson Lake.  They had invited anyone who wanted to come for a day of musical learning and sharing.  About 60 people showed up.  Zion had a blast, milked goats. fed chickens, gathered eggs, you know all the kind of stuff little boys love to do!  Jazmyn was 1 on Friday and we had a party for her.  She was pretty excited about the cake.
