Tim & Vanessa Lorentzen Family!

October 2nd - Well we moved into the new office this weekend!  I will try to get some pictures soon.  The hay is all hauled and the fence finished.  The weather has been really nice.  Darcy has not had the baby yet!  Her parents came last week and will stay for a month if the weather holds out.

October 11th - well Jasper is 10 today!  Hard to believe that the time has gone by so quickly!  He is enjoying guitar lessons and practices hard.  We have been having excellent fall weather.  No baby yet for John & Darcy.  We spent the weekend setting up a new bed for Hollis.  A bunk bed that has a desk and storage underneath.  To some EXTENSIVE rearranging in the boys/school room.

October 16th - Darcy had a baby boy Friday at 1:30 PM - 8 pounds - everyone is doing great!  No name yet.  Jasper had a wonderful birthday and received as gifts functional things (a Leatherman pocket tool - a pair of bid overalls - a flashlight - you know the typical survival tools that a 10  year old needs!

October 24th - The baby has a name - Elijah Lewis - all is well.  We have continued to have nice weather and have slept out in the camper a couple of nights for fun (of course it has a heater).  Vanessa & I are now on the Suzuki school board and had our first meeting last night.  We are glad to be involved in this as it has been such a good experience for the kids.  Starlit with the violin and the boys with the guitar. 

October 30th - Vanessa took Zion to an infants & toddlers Suzuki class on Saturday and he loved it!  My friend George came out for the weekend.  He starts a new job in Fargo today and is moving into a condo that he bought on the 18th.  Rick (my good friend who has a car repair shop in Bismarck) helped me put a motor in my work car (a rusty 82 Honda Prelude) this weekend and all went well until I was putting stuff away last night and had a ladder slip out from under me and I caught my middle finger on my left hand (at least it was not the right hand!) and tore the fingernail 90% off (and that hurt like the dickens!) had a hard time sleeping with it but I will survive!
