October 8th - Well I skipped a week there. We celebrated The Feast of Tabernacles for 8 days. Zion & I camped out for 3 nights at Sibley park with Ed & Bev and Jazmyn slept out one night also. It was nice weather for the most part. Vanya is growing like a weed! She tries to roll over but can't. She reaches for things and makes a lot of sounds. She still gets up about 2 times to nurse at night. Zion and I went to Fargo yesterday and went to a little Dinosaur Museum and enjoyed that. Spent some time with George also. October 15th - Well old Buzz is older, hard to believe he is 17 already! We are all busily getting ready for Hollis & Jenny's big day this coming Saturday. Although they got married on June 5th, this was the day her parents had set aside for a wedding so they are having the whole thing - big ceremony and reception and the whole shebang. The weather has been nice. Still appreciate your prayers regarding my work situation. God is faithful! October 22nd - Well the big wedding is over! Everything went really well and we will have some really nice pictures. I am still seeking God's leading with the job situation. Grandma Lou & Grandpa Lorentz came down and will stay for a week. Jonathan & Allison came down for the wedding but had to go right back to work. We played at a Gideon's Supper last Tuesday and got a lot of good contacts for future playing possibilities. October 28th - Vanessa's uncle Byron passed away suddenly on the 24th so pray for the family at this time. He was 72 and a wonderful man who loved and served God. Vanessa, Vanya and I came down for the funeral and are staying a few days to help with some network/computer issues they are having at the ministry center. Hollis and Jenny are taking care of things for us back home. |
