November 1st - What an extraordinary weekend.  We had record breaking nice weather (although it turned to extreme hard wind last night and blew the roof off our little playhouse!  Gusts of over 60 MPH)   Janice is doing and looking great!  The boys and I helped Grandpa Ross put in 12 hours of fence repair on Saturday and then yesterday (Sunday) we did a lot of yard work so I am a bit stiff and sore.  I guess this office work has made me soft, or could it be I am getting old?  Nah, it couldn't be that!  I got to ride the quad quite a bit although it was not recreational riding.  The cows kept getting out (thus the fence fixing) but it sure was better than chasing them on foot!  I think they were a bit surprised that I could outrun them!  Starlit is progressing very well with her violin playing.  Zion has 2 teeth now and is really enjoying eating food.

November 8th - The awesome weather continues!  In the 70's again this past weekend.  Janice is also continuing to do well.  The kids are wanting snow but I say let us enjoy what we have!  Zion is trying to crawl (or should I say he wants to crawl) he gets up on his hands and knees and just rocks back and forth.  One of these times he will realize he can move and then it will be time to batten down the hatches!

November 15th - Still no snow!  Beautiful weather all around and we will take it as long as we can.  The kids got in quite a bit of horse riding this past week.  Janice continues to do very well and we are praising the Lord for that!  Zion has had a bit of a cold but is also better now.  He weighs 21 pounds and is very active.  If you have not checked out the school pictures - they are in!

November 22nd - Still no snow!  We had a bit of rain though.  Vanessa & Starlit went to the Symphony on Friday night and had a wonderful time (some kids pulled the fire alarm just before it started so there was a bit of added excitement and delay).  Looking forward to celebrating Thanksgiving.  It makes me realize just how much we have to be thankful for!  Number one being the awesome fact that G-d loved us enough to provide us a Messiah to pay the price we never could pay!

November 29th - Still no snow! This is getting old but we will take it!  The boys and I did some more fencing and once again I am reminded that I am not as young as I used to be!  Thanksgiving was a good time of reflecting on His goodness and the wonderful family that I have been blessed with.  Looking forward to Hanukah which starts this Sabbath eve (Friday night).  We are going to go to Minneapolis for the weekend.  More on the trip next week!
