November 5th - What a great place to live! The weather here sure keeps you guessing. Today it is 72 and absolutely beautiful outside! We have continued to meet in our home on Saturdays with a growing and diverse group. We call our fellowship El David Messianic Fellowship and we are open to anyone who wishes to come and read with us. Holly has been struggling with some leg problems and so 2 weeks ago Hollis went and spent 4 days helping her (a crash course in Home Economics) and last week Jasper went for 4 days. They both passed the course with flying colors! November 12th - More great weather! In the 60's so we are not complaining. We have a lot of leaves in the yard so the kids have been doing some raking. Holly is doing better. We went to the ranch (as we like to call it) on Saturday night and stayed over. It was good to spend some time up there. Deer season opened this weekend so John & Ross both had a nice buck to skin out. The kids helped and then brought some meat up to fry. November 20th - Well I am a bit slow this week! Went to Washburn on Saturday and stayed over. Vanessa & I went to Minot to watch the girls basketball team play for the state championship and they lost. Still, 2nd is pretty good. The quartet sang in Washburn Sunday night as a fund raiser to help a group going to Nicaragua to build houses. The weather has continued to be unseasonably warm! We will take it as long as we can. November 27th - Well the snow has come! Only a bit but it is cold and windy. We are moving the office (the Ideapool one) into the office next to me at TestNet! That will be nice. We had a baptism on Saturday for some of the people we have been meeting with. |
