November 6th - Zion had another music class on Saturday and he really enjoys it!  He knew exactly what he was there for and entered in enthusiastically!  We are getting some snow and temps are falling.  Hollis has been working with his horse (the horse is named Blaze and will be 2 in February) and both are progressing well.  Starlit is really going good with the violin and the boys are both doing well with the guitar.  Sometimes it all seems a bit overwhelming but the end result will be good.  Darcy and Elijah are doing good.  He is a good little baby and her bigger kids (especially Jaidra) are a big help.

November 13th - Well, we have had a lot of snow! (not just in the political arena but on the ground) about 12 inches.  It has been about normal temps for November.  The kids are enjoying sledding and general snow stuff.  All are doing well.  Vanessa entered another art show in Dickinson this time and won a 3rd place for the photo of Zion smelling the sunflowers.  There we 22 entries in the photo category so she was pleased.

November 20th - Zion can whistle! It is so cute to see!  He has been able to once in a while for a couple of weeks but can pretty much do it when he wants to now.  I went to Fargo on Saturday to help my friend George move into his new Condo.  I left at 6:00 AM and came home that night and the roads were horrid!  Winds 30 MPH from the North West - temps of 32 (for those on the Celsius scale that is 0) so the roads were slippery.  I saw 2 hit the ditch - 4 more still in and evidence of many more that had been in!  I was glad to get home!

November 27th - Another wild week!  Thanksgiving was a great time of reflecting on how awesome God is!  Startlit and Vanessa did not feel good all day (Jasper had been sick during the night but was OK) and it was a good reminder of how blessed we are with good health!  It seems that sometimes we need a reminder of good we truly have it most of the time.  Then on Saturday Nick, Jasper and I drove to Rochester MN and back (1120 mile trip) to tow a vehicle back.  Nick had sold it to a guy a year ago but the guy never had the title transferred over and in May he left it at a tranny shop with the tranny out.  He never came back for it so the owner finally tracked Nick down and we went and got it.  Left Washburn at 5:50 AM and were back at 1:15 AM so it was a tiring day!  Cut and wrapped venison yesterday.  Everyone is in good health although Janice still had pain that they can't seem to figure out.  Joint pain that gets really bad sometimes so please continue to pray for her.
