May 7th - Sorry for the late update, been kinda busy!  On Sunday the Suzuki School presented Pa's Fiddle Tunes (a program that Vanessa put together, narrated and directed) with 12 of our Suzuki kids, Sue Neumann (the senior violin instructor) and myself!  We put it on at the Heritage center in Bismarck and had a nice turn out.  Included in those who turned out where my mom and dad (otherwise know as grandpa Lorentz and gramma Lou) so it has been good to see them.  Have had some rain which was needed.

May 11th - Happy Mothers Day to all you moms out there!  We had a day of sunshine today after a wonderful week of rain!  Slow rain just what the ground needed!  Worked in the flower beds today and tried to get some spring work done for Vanessa.  Now tired and back aches!  Oh well, I am not exactly in shape so should start working on that.  Have a great week all!

May 18th - We saw the Lunar eclipse on Thursday night - it was clear and windy and cold BUT very good viewing.  Have had more rain (Yeah!) and some days of sunshine as well.  Looking forward to the long weekend coming up, not sure what we are going to do but since I have put in over 10 hours each week this month in Over Time it will be nice to have the day off!

May 27th - Memorial Day - what a good reminder to sit and reflect on those who made this land the free land that it is.  Great service in Washburn on Monday.  George came out from Fargo on Friday evening and spent the weekend.  Had a good time visiting with him.  Went to the lake Saturday evening and had a good time.  Casey and Jo came along.  Ross & Janice left for her annual checkup in Rochester so pray that it is a good report.
