May 1st - we have been having wonderful weather.  A bit of rain and then some sunshine.  The kids are loving the outdoors.  Janice & John are feeling better.  We are going into the rabbit business.  Bought some used rabbit hutches this weekend and a couple of rabbits.  Everyone (except Zion) is excited.  The mare Ross bought last year had her foal so the kids are loving that too.  We are expecting one more.

May 8th - some needed rain yesterday.  Things are greening up very nicely.  We went to another Fur & Feather swap (that is where people that raise small animals meet to buy/sell/trade) and gramma bought Starlit 7 baby geese!  The unfortunate thing is that one of them was too small and died last night.  She is pretty upset but hopefully is learning some good life lessons out of this.  As parents the ongoing challenge is to take situations and teach (and learn) from them.  John is pretty much back to his old self (you take the good with the bad!) so that is good news.  Janice continues to pass kidney stones almost every weekend so please continue to lift her up in  your prayers.

May 15th - another week - more rain - and Mothers Day!  The boys and I built a deck for Vanessa over the week - Starlit played her violin for church in Washburn and did a fine job.  The boys cleaned grammas car for her and we all had lunch at John & Darcys so all in all it was a very good day.  Starlits geese are doing great.  They follow her all over the place.

May 23rd - I missed updating yesterday as I was in Dickinson for 14 hours installing our program at the Stark County Sherrifs office!  Our good friends Ed & Bev came back from Israel for 3 months.  We went to meet them at the airport and it was sure good to see them!  Will be leaving this Saturday for a week up at Three Hills so might not get any more news posted until June 5th.
