March 5th - Missed a week of updating but there is much to say.  We are moved.  We did a lot of sorting and put a lot in storage.  We left Bismarck on Monday the 25th and arrived here late on Tuesday night.  We did miss all the bad weather but saw much evidence of it as we passed through.  John & Darcy came along (with Madison, Amanda, Elijah and Mikiah) and hauled our van seats and 5 bikes and 3 boxes.  They then towed the horse trailer back when they left yesterday.  They were a huge help especially Darcy as she helped Vanessa unpack and sort.  Last Saturday we all went to the Creation Museum over by Cincinnati http://www.creationmuseum.org/ and was it ever a wonderful experience.  This is a picture of the place we are living that was taken last fall.

March 10th - Well wouldn't you know it, we move here and they get a foot of snow!  Started Friday morning and continued through Saturday night.  Beautiful sight as it came straight down and covered everything.  We are getting settled in and it is starting to feel like home.  It is quite amazing to be in such a completely different environment, work wise, scenery wise, terrain etc and yet it is comforting to know that God is in it.  John & Darcy left on Tuesday and arrived safely home although they did encounter some bad roads.  Will keep you updated with more pictures soon.

March 17th - Here is a link to some pictures - we went to a jam session on Sunday and met some nice people.  The snow all melted away quite rapidly but really made it seem like spring is here.  Things got quite muddy and I am not used to that yet.  Gas prices are climbing.  We are continuing to get settled in and enjoying the family here although of course we miss those back in ND.  Pray for safety for the younger kids as they explore - they really love to be outside.

March 24th - Rain, rain, and then for something different, more rain!  Wow I have not seen  so much moisture ever that I can remember.  This is a picture looking out of our place toward the lake.  You can see that the bridge and island are covered.

We have been to 3 jams so far, all within 15 miles of here.  Two of them are weekly country/gospel jams and they use mics, electric guitars, keyboards, drums and whatever so a bit different but fun.  The people are very friendly and receptive.  The local bluegrass jam is twice a month a is a bit different.  They have a stage upstairs that groups sign up to play at for a 1/2 hour and then there is jamming downstairs and when the weather is nice outside.  We went to the Easter sunrise service so that made yesterday a long day.  Everyone here has been fighting strep throat so that has added to the fun of it all.  Keep us in your prayers as we will continue to think of and pray for you.

March 31st - More rain but not enough for flooding.  Most of us took turns having a round of 24 hour (Praise God it was only that long!) flu that was nasty!  Linda and her 2 kids were here for most of the week and Mike and Martha and it was good to see them.  A few more calves were born and Jasper has been checking them every day.  There is a Canadian goose that is nesting on the island right out from us so we have roped off that bridge to keep people away.
