March 7th - Beautiful weather! It has been in the 60's and was so nice on Saturday that I washed 2 cars, the Suburban and Holly's van in the driveway.  Holly cut my and Zion's hair out on the deck.  Then Sunday it cooled off a bit and rained but not nearly enough.  We need to be praying about moisture.  Been working out at the Y with my friend Rick and Hollis and Jasper and that has been a painful but needed experience!  Starlit got a haircut on Saturday also but not from Holly, she doesn't do "doo's" like that.

March 14th - Out family band (they called us the Lorentzen Family Ensemble) played up in Garrison Saturday evening - Zion played and sang and did a good job as did all the kids and our special flute player - Jenny!  We played for around 50 minutes.  On Sunday there was a jam session at the Gateway Mall here in Bismarck so we attended that as well.  Lots of practice this weekend!  The weather has been more seasonal with a small amount of moisture but much more is needed.  Jazmyn is really expressing herself and wants to eat!  We are going to start her on some rice cereal probably this week.

March 21st - Well, they forecast snow all last week suppose to be over 6 inches coming - we got nothing!  It is dry so please be in prayer for the need for moisture.  Jazzy ate her first real food Friday evening - plain potatoes!  I fed her a very small amount with no butter or anything but you would have thought it was gourmet cooking the way she loved it!  I imagine it was just the whole experience that she loved but it sure was cute!  Tried some smashed banana last night and that was alright.  Zion is learning more songs.  His actual technique is a bit lacking but that will come with time.

March 28th - Well Jazmyn is eating food now and loving it!  She also got her first tooth on Sunday.  The weather has been nice and we did get some wet snow last week.  On Monday grandpa Lorentz came down with Grace who is on her way to Wisconsin to work so we had some company.  Grandpa bought our van so had come down to get it.  I figured if Jazzy was going to eat she may as well start on coffee!
