March 3 - Krispy Kreme donuts sure do smell good!  Especially when you have 500 dozen inside the van with you!  The Suzuki School did a fund raiser and sold 588 dozen so I took a rapid trip to Fargo yesterday to pick them up.  Was in Fargo for 1/2 hour and loaded 70 dozen (they are in bags with 7 dozen each) in the car top carrier and the rest inside the van.  I was proud of myself as I only ate 2 (not 2 dozen!) on the way back!  More winter weather but we sure do need the moisture.  All of us have a minor sore throat but nothing major.  Yah is certainly good!

March 9th - Spring is a coming and is that ever going to be nice!  We have had 20 below, wind and snow!  Worse this month than in February!  Hollis had 2 more speech meets this week and got into the finals in one of them with poetry.  He got a 6th place finish and the team was in the finals in every event.

March 16th - Hollis had a speech tourney in New Rockford and got 3rd in the poetry.  He did a great job!  The team took first place in both Junior and varsity.  We now have 60 above and it is messy out.  The first 4 calves of the season were born this week.

March 24th - 65 above and no one is complaining!  Excellent weather for calving and the kids are enjoying every minute of it. Hollis has his learners permit and is coming along nicely with his driving.  It is a strange sensation to be sitting in the passenger side with your son driving I can tell you that.  There was no speech this past week as it was spring break.  Zion is excited about his upcoming birthday.  I hope the birthday lives up to the hype!

March 30th - Nice weather - Hollis went to Harvey for speech and got into finals in both Poetry and Story Telling!  He took 6th in Poetry and 7th in Story Telling.  Jaidra is 14 and turning into quite a young woman.  Of course this next Month is full of birthdays so will keep you posted on the ageing process.  In spite of our personal opinions on the war, lets pray for the troops and for the leaders in this endeavor.
