March 5th - Great weather!  We have had much snow melting.  The kids all did a great job at the recital on Saturday.  My good pal Rick and I got the engine back in my Taurus and it is running great!  Gramma Blanche turned 90!  What a wonderful gramma she has been to us all.

March 12th - Mud and more mud!  It has been melting and thus we have mud!  That strange time of year where it isn't really nice enough to do much but all the winter stuff you can't do either!  A patience learning time!  We did go for a walk down to the Fort yesterday.  The Taurus is still running good BUT now the front seal on the tranny decided to leak!  More patience training I wonder?  I hope I get this patience stuff mastered quickly!

This car is as nice as it looks both inside and out!

March 19th - Well, the Lord continues to watch over us!  I was on my way to Bismarck last night at around 9:00 (server problems at work) and at an intersection 4 miles north of town I almost got hit.  I saw this vehicle pull across the north bound lane and stop in the middle and then accelerate to cross my lane!  I could see his headlights in my side window and took tire screeching evasive action!  I was then pondering what had just happened and wondering if it had really happened when I pulled up to the first red light in Bismarck.  The guy who had been right behind me pulled up beside me and honked his horn so I rolled down my window and he confirmed what had happened.  He was really upset (of course I was shook up too) and wanted to make sure I was alright.  The good news is that I was driving the Taurus!  John got the tranny problem fixed and I helped him put it back in on Thursday night.  I have a totally new appreciation and respect for John after these 2 tranny problems!  He is a great mechanic!  The Taurus is running great and is a really nice car.  Hollis tried to see if the quad was a submersible and learned some important lessons.  I am trying to learn that patience lesson that God continues to be teaching me.  We did a bunch of yard work yesterday and even though it has only been in the 40's we are all really enjoying the outdoors.

March 26th - Well, so much for spring!  After teasing us with one day of 60 above it got cold!  in the 20's with 25 mph winds and that is cold!  It is supposed to get some nicer this week but chances of either rain or snow.  Vanessa and the kids were in at Holly's the other day and Shelby accidentally slammed Zion's foot in the door and totally ripped the nail off his big toe!  Needless to say there was some intense crying going on.  Zion because he was in pain and Shelby because she felt so bad and was trying to make up with him and he kept pushing her away!  All is going to be just fine.  The toe is healing up and only bothers him now if he bumps it.
