June 1st - Well much goes on and I skipped a week there.  The long weekend saw family come down and that was fun.  Ross & Janice came down on Monday the 19th arriving late in the evening.  Jasper, Starlit and I had been down in Louisville and played at the Chapel at Churchhill Downs for a service.  Ross & Janice stayed until Thursday evening the 29th.  Jasper and I have been raking and baling hay.  The weather has been up in the 80's for several days and they say 90's this week!  Uffda is all I can say.  The humidity has been pretty high (at least for us) also.  I caught a large bullfrog last night and Zion enjoyed looking at him up close, taking some pictures and then letting him go.  Duvon brought in a baby turtle from the hay field so Zion is keeping that for a while.

June 9th - Hot! Humid! Sounds like the norm for here.  We are still  haying.  I have been doing some mowing as well as baling.  We sang at a wedding on Saturday out in Missouri so left here at 5:00 AM drove there, visited with our good friends Kory & Carman Jackson from Bismarck, did the wedding reception and drove home!  Got home at 3:30 AM so it was a long day.  900 mile round trip.

June 16th - Happy Fathers Day!  We have had some rain but still getting the hay in.  Spent 8 hours on the tractor yesterday and got everything that was cut baled so that was good.  Duvon & family are in Spain for 3 weeks so pray for them.  They are attending the World Water Expo in Zaragoza Spain and New Life has a booth there.  We met a bunch more neat picker's and singers this past Saturday at a small 1 day festival.  We are all doing well.  Our good friend's Steve & Cathy Rendall were here for a day and it was wonderful to visit with them.

June 23rd - Nice weather and all the hay has been cut and baled!  Now to get it all hauled in and put away and the equipment serviced and readied for the second cutting in August or September.  Starlit, Vanya and Vanessa went to a Suzuki training institute in Ottawa Kansas this week.  They left Sunday morning and arrived that evening.  It is about 580 miles from here.  We are all doing well and keeping very busy.
