June 3rd - Ross & Janice got home with a good report!  More rain and cool weather so things are really looking nice and green.  Got the Suzuki School moved to our new (but maybe temporary) location and been working overtime so been pretty tired.  The extra $$ is nice though!  Hollis has been working with his 4 year old gelding and they are both coming along very well!  Starlit is in a 4 day violin school in Bismarck this week.

June 9th - Lewis & Clark days was held this past weekend in Washburn with a nice parade.  Drizzled on & off.  Went to the lake last night for a couple of hours.  Ross & Janice went to the wild horse sale and brought home 3 wild mustangs so much excitement!

June 16th - Happy Fathers day to all you dads out there!  The weather is now suddenly hot!  That is North Dakota for you!  Had a nasty thunderstorm Saturday night and last night also.  Seems to happen often when it is hot.  The kids went to Prairie Day over at the Cross Ranch on Saturday and had a good time.  Sold the Suburban on Friday night so currently working on a different towing vehicle - will keep you updated on the progress.

June 23rd - Had a big week!  Uncle Oz (as the kids refer to him) stopped by on his way moving to Three Hills and it was good to see him.  We went to the lake and had a blast!  He makes some VERY good coffee!  On Saturday we went to Fargo to see the World Famous Lipizzaner Stallions and enjoyed that very much!  George went to the show with us and also treated us to a great supper! On Sunday we went on over into Minnesota and visited Vanessa's great aunt in a nursing home.  Starlit played for about 1/2 hour and the residents really enjoyed it.  Drove through an awesome storm on the way home.  Things are lush and green in North Dakota!

June 30th - The McLean County Fair was this past weekend and Vanessa got a Blue Ribbon for her Challah Bread and Starlit got a blue ribbon for a quilt.  Starlit and I played (or rather we endured a wind and rain storm) in the talent show on Friday night!  Horrible experience but Starlit was a trooper and played and sang while the audience ran for cover and we got soaked and cold!  Then on Saturday we went rummage sale-ing and Jasper and I put shocks and light plug on the new (old) towing rig we got.  It is a 73 Country Squire with 400 and 2 barrel - 97K miles and in pretty decent shape.
