February 4th - Enjoyed the Super Bowl.  Nice weather down here in Indiana although we did have a strong wind storm Tuesday night and were without power for about 12 hours.  I had started a fire in the fireplace (that's a good place to start one!) so at least we were warm.  A small tornado did do some damage just 5 miles from here (an unusual occurrence they say) so thank God for His protection for us.  We go back to Bismarck this week and have several musical commitments and then of course the big move to take care of.  Please continue to ask God for His protection and guidance for us.  Also we still have one staff member in Kenya so pray for protection for Bill Farrar.

February 11th - We are back in ND and wow!  -21 and windy on Saturday so welcome to ND!  The trip was long and the Suburban is doing something weird with the tranny so I am going to have Rick help me figure that out.  Some strange electrical thing not the actual transmission he says so that is good!  We enjoyed playing on Saturday and then jamming at the monthly jam session at the Gateway Mall.  We are sure going to miss those great Bluegrass people here.  They have all been a great support to us as we have learned more about jamming and about Bluegrass music.  Busy packing and sorting so pray for patience and wisdom in all of that.  Thanks!

February 18th - More windy weather and some snow, about 5 inches on Wednesday.  The sorting and packing is going S-L-O-W-L-Y as one could expect I suppose.  I traded my Suburban and the 97 Plymouth van to John for a 2002 Dodge Maxi Van.  Those are a big rig.  It needed some tranny work so I assisted him on that on Thursday and Friday and we took it to Dickinson on Saturday where we played at a church banquet.  Neat people out there and we shared about New Life both at the Saturday evening banquet and at the Sunday morning service.
