December 5th - Well winter is here in earnest!  16 below this morning.  We received a couple inches of snow Friday afternoon and evening.  Of course that was the time that we were helping my partner Jim move.  Did that Saturday also and Hollis and Jasper helped.  They were only moving 5 blocks but just as much work.  Went to a little recital at one of Vanessa's students house on Sunday and all the kids played a number and then we played some together.  Zion wants to go snow skiing so I imagine we will work that in after the New Year.

December 12th - Well maybe winter isn't so earnest!  Temps were in the 40's all weekend so a sloppy mess all around.  The Suzuki school program was on Saturday and Starlit and Zion (and all the rest too) did a really good job playing.  Starlit has here braces now and they are not bothering her too much.  Amazing to see how they grow up.  As I look at how Jazmyn changes so much I realize how quickly the time goes by.  We need to enjoy each moment!

December 19th - Time sure does fly by!  Especially the weekends.  We have more snow and cold so we have been getting some snowmobiling in out at the Jackson's.  Hollis moved in to a trailer with 2 friends from work so the first one has flown the nest!  It is a very strange feeling as some of you probably know.

December 27th - Had a wonderful celebration over the weekend.  Dave & Nadine came up on Monday and we got to spend some time with them.  I went to Fargo Thursday afternoon and brought George back.  On Saturday we all went up to Ross & Janice's and then on Sunday everyone came to our place.  Hollis and Jenny were over.  On Monday I took George back home and the weather has been un-seasonably warm.  All the little amount of snow we had has melted.   Hanukah began on the 26th so the first candle lighting was actually Sunday evening.
