December 8th - Wow!  Had a busy week.  On Friday I took (and passed!) my Microsoft Certification exam for Windows 2000 Server!  It was a VERY tough test and I am so relieved that I passed!  Then on Saturday Jasper, Hollis, Nick and I drove to Fargo and stayed overnight and then went to the Vikings game in Minneapolis (tickets courtesy of Cloverdale) and saw a  great game!  They totally killed Seattle.  Got home late and are tired of course.  We had to top off the trip by stopping to see "The Biggest Ball Of Twine" it was actually pretty cool.  Vanessa and Starlit went to a Christmas concert where the Suzuki kids played.

The 3 amigos?
The field before the game
It takes a big ball of twine to weigh 8.5 tons!

December 15th - Well, I took (and passed!) another Microsoft test on Friday!  2/3 of the way to my first goal of becoming an MSCA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator).  We have had some colder weather and a small amount of snow.  Vanessa, Hollis and Starlit went to the Lori Line concert on Friday night.  I got Vanessa an early (sometimes it just doesn't make sense to wait) present and with the help of my good friend Rick actually got it installed!  Oh yeah, it was a remote car starter.  We went to a Christmas program that Shelby & Levi were in and after it was over Zion wanted me to go tell the lady that he could sing AND had a violin to play! Maybe he is going to get inspired!  He sings really quite well and I am sure that he is going to go great guns on the violin also.

December 22nd - Highs in the 40's - mud - weird weather!  Must be the middle of the winter in North Dakota!  On Tuesday night at midnight I did something I have never done before.  Vanessa, Hollis, Jasper and I went to the first showing of The Return Of The King.  The movie is over 3 hours long so it was a late night (or should I say early morning?) the show was great!  Then on Wednesday the quartet sang at a funeral in Washburn, a classmate of Vanessa's 21 year old son had a quad accident out on the farm.  Quite an emotional deal.  He had accepted the Lord as a young boy so at least there was comfort in that.

December 27th - On the 24th I drove out to Fargo (left work at noon) and brought George out for Christmas.  Vanessa took him back on Friday and we sure enjoyed having him.  Well, the big get together here is over and we are heading for the clan in Canada today.  Will stay over and get there tomorrow night.  Will update you after returning.   Hannukah was from the 19th - 26th this year and we enjoyed lighting the menorah each night and remembering that Yah did miracles for the Macabees AND still does for us today!  Let us not forget!
