December 4th - We had the Suzuki Christmas program on the 1st and the kids all did great!  The boys played with the guitar group and Starlit with the violin group.  Then on Saturday night some of the violin students (on a volunteer basis) played for the MDU Christmas party and Starlit participated and did a good job.  She has really been on a learning spurt lately.  Largely thanks to the effort that Vanessa is putting in with her.  Zion is saying lots of words although they are not always what he thinks they are!  Work continues to provide me with plenty of stress moments but we will persevere with Gods grace!

December 12th - The deep freeze is here!  It was 20 below on Sunday with wind pushing the feels like down to 50 below!  Ross & Janice left Saturday for a weeks testing in Rochester so please pray for them.  Zion has discovered Winnie the Pooh (and Tigger too!) and continues to be a real joy.  He picked up a harmonica the other day and was very proud of the fact that he could make sounds on it.  He did a nice job of blowing in & out gently.  He seems to really enjoy music (and food!)

December 18th - Well the election thing is finally over!  We have been having bitter cold wind chill here - only around zero actual temp but with 25 - 25 mph wind it makes it -45 feels like temp!  Ross & Janice came home on Saturday and Janice has a clean bill of health!  She passed every test they put her through.  So now she needs prayer to learn how to cope with the pain.

December 26th - Boxing day in Canada but I am here in the good old USA so it is back to work!  We had a great holiday time at gramma Janice's house for Christmas Eve and then Christmas day at Darcy's.  It is quite an event when we all get together - 13 kids - 8 adults - 3 dogs and .... well you get the picture!  Our family has been really enjoying celebrating Hanukkah for the 3rd year.   This ytear it overlapped Christmas so much goings on.  We are leaving on Thursday morning for a quick trip up to Three Hills.  Will update you next year!
