Tim & Vanessa Lorentzen Family!

August 6th - More hot weather but some relief the past few days.  Rained last night so that was nice!  Vanya is growing like a weed a starting to sleep better (some nights at least) and she really enjoys visiting with people.
 
Gramma Lou and grandpa Lorentz arrived Thursday evening late so much excitement with that.   They will be here most of the week and then heading south and east for an extended trip.

August 13th - Well I am a year older!  And been married for 26 years! Wow!  Vanessa deserves an award for that.  Grandpa Lorentz and Grandma Lou left Saturday evening to continue their big trip.  We sure enjoyed having them here and Grandma got her baby fix (for a week anyway).  Jasper got a job at Dan's SuperMarket just a couple blocks away so he is excited about that as his lawn mowing job will be ending soon.   He also helped Grandpa Ross roof part of their house on Friday & Saturday.  Vanya is 1 month old - time flies by!

August 20th - what a wet weekend!  The Bluegrass Festival was poorly attended due to the poor weather BUT those who came had a great time!  The bands were good.  The kids and I played twice on Saturday and received many nice comments.  On Sunday we played again out at Buckstop Junction for their annual corn feed and at least got to play inside but it was still rainy.  What a change the weather can make.  Vanya is really changing and likes to interact with you and is quite expressive.  She is still not a really good night baby so pray for strength for mamma!

August 27th - School starts tomorrow - Uffda!  Jasper has been working a lot at Dan's and for our lawn mowing neighbor so he has been busy and tired.  Continue to pray for us as we transition back to school schedule.  The Suzuki School does not kick in until next week so that helps a bit.  Jazmyn has been taking dance class for a month and absolutely loves it!
