April 2nd - March went out nasty!  We had a lot of rain and wind and some snow.  We do need the moisture so no one is really complaining.  Zion & I went to the circus on Saturday and had a really good time (it was an early birthday present for him).  We are all doing well but having a bit of spring fever.

April 9th - Starlit is 15 had some friends over for a tea party and had a good time.  We celebrated Passover with some old and some new friends. Once again I was deeply struck by the fact that Jesus could share that Passover with his disciples knowing that He was fulfilling it within hours!  Wow! The love of God is a deep and mighty thing!  We are so unworthy of it but I am so glad He has given it freely to us!

April 16th - well we had more snow.  Quite a bit actually over 2 days so more needed moisture.  The big news is that Jasper had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Monday.  This was a carry over from a snowmobile accident he had last January.  It went well and he will be healed up fine in 6 - 8 weeks.  We went to the farm on Sunday and had lunch with the clan.  It is wonderful that we serve a LIVING God!

April 23rd - I did forget to mention last week that Starlit had played a piece for a competition (or at least they were judging them) and received a star!  Now she goes this week on Friday to Jamestown for state.  We have had some rain and nice weather.  Very spring feeling.  I guess I also forgot to talk about Zion turning 8 and how excited he was by the party and cards etc.  Ross & Janice bought him a hermit crab so he has been enthralled with that.   Of course he and Jazmyn are loving being out in the backyard with the nice weather.  Vanessa suffered a bad cold but seems to be over that.  Please continue to pray for her and the baby.

April 30th - Beautiful weather!  Had some rain but could always use more.  Hollis has been working with me at the Cloverdale Country Store and that has been really nice.  Jasper's knee is healing up very nicely.  He is going to work for our neighbor this summer doing lawns.  We are all feeling pretty good although Vanessa's right hip has been bothering her some.  Please continue to lift her and the baby up in your prayers.
