April 4th - Wonderful weather but rain is sure needed.  They forecast rain but it does not happen.  Jazmyn has had a nasty cold for 4 days but is getting over it.  Runny nose, cough - generally miserable.  Gas prices are at $2.25 here and they say they are going to continue up!  Jasper, Hollis and I went to help Dennis load up as he is moving to Icelandic State Park.  Sure going to miss him.  The quartet has one more commitment and then I think we are done.  I am going to try to work more with the family band.  Have not come up with a name other than The Lorentzen's so for now I guess we will go with that.

April 11th - Wow!  2 birthdays (3 counting grandpa Lorentz turning 70 on the 8th) Starlit turned 13 on the 7th and Zion turned 6 on the 10th.  BSC had a really neat musical presentation the evening of the 7th including the guitar ensemble with Hollis Lorentzen playing bass.  The whole thing (well OK 90% of it) was very good!  We had a small party for Starlit as we are having her Bat Barrakah next Saturday).  She got her ears pierced on Friday.  Also had a small party for Zion just to keep the chaos down and he had a great time.  Will post some pictures.  No rain although today it looks promising.

April 18th - What a great party we had on Saturday for Starlit!  Had 30 women and girls (from babes in arms on up) at our house as we celebrated Starlit's Bat Barrakah (daughter of the blessing).  We did get an inch of rain last week and things are looking green and springy!  Zion has been enjoying riding on the Co-Pilot that I got for him.  It is the rear of a 20" bike that attaches to an adult bike so a child can ride and pedal with you.  I bought it brand new on EBay and have received many looks and comments on it.

April 25th - Nice weather - been walking the golf course walking trail (a 2.2 mile course by the YMCA) and bike riding and enjoying spring!  The new growth, although the same from year to year, never ceases to both thrill and amaze me!  Had a very enjoyable
