April 1st - Well, we had a wonderful Passover last Thursday evening.  What a powerful experience as you realize that Jesus (Yeshua is His Hebrew name and the one that we prefer) celebrated the last supper (which was actually the Passover feast that He had instructed His people to keep every year) with His disciples, knowing full well what was going to happen in the next few hours, while they were oblivious to it all!  In the midst of fulfilling the Passover as the perfect lamb, He still found enough love and compassion to wash their feet and still be the servant the He was!  Hallelujah!  What a Savior!

April 8th - Starlit is 10!  Into the double digits.  Hard to believe how time flies by.  We had her party at the little house at the farm (which we are moving back into this week) and it was nice and roomy with no furniture!  The reason that was nice is that we did some square dancing!  It had been a long time since I had refreshed my memory with square dance calls but since they were all beginners, we had a good time.  Zion is anticipating his birthday although it is hard to know what a 3 year old expects!

April 15th - We moved!  The little house is no longer roomy!  The nice thing is that the Suburban makes good mileage.  13.1 MPG (on US gallons you Canadians remember) on 4 trips pulling the horse trailer.  It does not have great power but I will take the mileage!  The kids are excited (and of course Buddy) to be back at the ranch.  It will take a couple of days to settle in and get used to driving again.

April 22nd - I went to Devils Lake on Friday, filled up first and then again after getting home and made 18.3 MPG!  The diesel is (right now, but not always) .20 per gallon cheaper than the gas is so that makes it even better!  The kids are loving living on the ranch!  We have had some colder weather and some rain/snow but we need the moisture so no one is complaining.

April 29th - More wind, snow and cold!  Went to a Bismarck Roughriders (NIFL Team) game on Saturday night with Hollis, Jasper and Starlit.  It was fun.  They won which always makes it more fun.  The calving is almost over and life is in full swing at the ranch.  Chickens, rabbits, ducks, cats and dogs and of course plenty of kids make for an interesting and never boring day!
