May 3rd - We are back to living in a jungle!  Rain, sun, rain, sun = everything grows like crazy!  The grass grows like weeds and the weeds grow like weeds on fertilizer!  Zion is enjoying his microscope and all things outside.  Jazmyn and Vanya are loving it too.  They play together very well although the little gal can not always keep up.  This morning she came out and told me she was a secret agent!  Cracked me up.  Starlit has her last orchestra rehearsal tonight and the big concert on Sunday.  Jasper and Starlit are scheduling the GED so pray that they will do well.

May 10th - Grandpa Ross and Grandma Janice came down for a visit and arrived Friday evening.  The weather was nice until they got here and now has been windy and cooler.  I spent Saturday at The Falls of the Ohio with a New Life booth and definitely got sun/wind burned.  We sang that night up in Hayden (they had a cancellation and called us on Wednesday) and that was fun.  Jaspers boat works really nice and I picked up a used tube/kneeboard/tow rope and life jackets on Friday.  We went out Wednesday for a quick boat trip and then on Friday I took Zion, Jazmyn and Vanya out to the beach at Hardy Lake for some swimming.  They had a wonderful time (and so did the big kid - me!)  I wrote a song and you can see/listen on you tube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YTMCEIRG93c

May 17th - Busy week, Ross has been working on the genset from our RV and I have been trying to learn what I can about it.  Making some good progress and should have it operational soon!  Zion was in the Spring Suzuki recital at U of L and did a great job.  This past weekend was the prison ministry at Madison and it was great to be involved in that.  Many hurting and angry woman in that place that need prayer.  God is working in spite of the conditions they are in.  Jasper took the GED on Wednesday and Thursday but it will be at least 30 days before results are back.  Starlit will find out tonight at the class if she is ready to take the test.  Rain in the forecast and actually happening right now.

May 31st - The month is gone and so are Ross & Janice.  It was a quick 2 weeks.  The genset is working!  We are busy trying to hay (between rain showers) and getting ready for the bluegrass festival this weekend.  Had a good weekend.  We have gone to Hardy Lake a couple of times and have thoroughly enjoyed it.  Looking forward to taking the motor home out for the first time this weekend.  I trust and pray that we remembered our service men and women both active and retired and the sacrifices they and family have made so we can enjoy this great country!
