March dates to remember - Purim 1st & 2nd  - Baby is due 27th - Passover 31st.

March 2nd - Janice is recovering quite well!  The kidney has not kicked in yet so please continue to pray regarding that.  The doctor says this is quite normal for a kidney that was on ice for 16 hours.  He said it is "sleeping" and will wake up in time.  Some times it takes 2 - 4 weeks I guess.  We are praying that it will be MUCH quicker for Janice's sake.  She is so tired of dialysis.

March 6th - Janice came home yesterday!  She is doing remarkably well although the kidney output is still down.  We continue to trust God for it.  I went skiing again with the kids yesterday and we all had a fun (and safe) day.  Vanessa is ready for the baby to come any day so we will keep you posted.  You will of course see the first pictures here so stay tuned!

March 10th - No baby yet BUT the good news is that Janice had lab tests today and they are not going to give her dialysis!  They feel that the kidney is starting to work and are going to give it a chance.  Praise the Lord!  I talked to Anita on Tuesday evening and her and Alex are living in Winnipeg and seeking Gods will.   Continue to lift them up in your prayers.

March 15th - No baby yet but continued good news for Janice.  Although she is still in quite a bit of pain she is not needing dialysis!  Praise the Lord!  He is so faithful to answer our prayers.  Speaking of prayers please remember Hollis as he is going to be tested (6th grade is one of those grades where testing is mandatory) and of course we want it to go well!  I don't know for sure when but I imagine sometime this month.  Will keep you posted.

March 22nd - Still no baby!  Starlit played her first solo at the violin recital yesterday!  She did very well.  Janice continues to improve although the healing from the surgery is still slow.  I talked to Anita last night and she and Alex are doing well.  The weather has been very nice and everyone has spring fever.  5 new calves have arrived so far and the weather has cooperated nicely for that.  The kids enjoyed watching 2 be born on Saturday.

March 26th - Still no baby!  Janice's kidney is working well BUT she does need your continued prayers as she has developed quite a serious infection in the incision.   Will keep you posted.

March 31st - Well the month is on its last day and it looks like no baby in March after all!  I am thinking that the child knows when it has it good and does not want to come out.  We are continuing to wait patiently on the Lord for His timing in this.   Janice is healing up but still requires your prayers.  This infection required quite a bit of cutting out of rotting flesh and basically she has a hole in her stomach so please lift her up.  Needless to say this has been quite a set back both physically and emotionally.  As always I will keep you posted here!
