December 4th - Jaidra had her baby on the 1st and all went exceptionally well (especially for a first baby)! We had (and most of the Midwest did also) snow. About 4 inches in Bismarck so Zion & Jazmyn were excited. It is beautiful that is for sure. Fargo and other areas received more. I was to head back to Indiana on Saturday but waited until Sunday afternoon and was I glad. The roads were fine but MANY places where people had been in the ditch. Please pray for God's direction in our lives as we seek Him for what, and where He wants us to be. Continue to lift up Jasper and Starlit in school and Jasper as he is working quite a bit and getting pretty run down. Let us remember that the reason we celebrate this time of year is the totally free and undeserved gift of Salvation that was given to all who will accept it!
December 10th - Cold and wintery! That should be no surprise for North Dakota. The Suzuki School Christmas program was on Saturday and Jazmyn had her first dance performance on Sunday. The new babies (all 3!) are growing and all is well. God is good and He is a just and righteous Father. The wonder is not that I chose Him but rather that He chose me! The gift of God through His Son is truly beyond our comprehension and all we can do (if we are smart enough) is to accept it.
December 17th - Vanya said Hi dada - several times. Not saying that she knows what she is saying but we have heard it quite clearly. She is growing like crazy. I was down in Indiana and came back in NASTY weather. The break in school coming up is being eagerly anticipated by Japer and Starlit and I suppose all of us. It is good to reflect on how wonderful God is to us. Please remember Yvonne and the family as they are missing Byron even more at this holiday season.
December 24th - Well the gift buying and baking have reached a peak! Tonight's the night we go to gramma Janice's and celebrate! Jasper went to Fargo and picked up George on Saturday so it is very nice to have him here. He will be going back on Wednesday so will have a nice short week at work! Continue to lift up our needs as decisions need to be made. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
December 31st - Well 2007 is history and what a remarkable year it was! Hollis got married - Vanya arrived! I had a job change (new job beginning tomorrow - more on that later) Vanessa started 2 new Suzuki classes. Old Hat preformed many times with Jasper playing bass most of the time. God provided safety and all of our needs as the loving Father that He is - who could ask for anything more! Happy New Year!
