April 9th - Catching up is in order. We moved to a new server so for a week or 2 I have not been able to edit my site! Passover has come and gone and was a wonderful time. We had a Seder at our house with some friends on Tuesday the 30th and then Friday evening the fellowship in Louisville had a Seder and around 270 people were there! Starlit and Vanessa went to Nashville for Starlit's birthday. Our good friends Tom & Judy bought tickets for the Grand Ole Opry for them and they had a great time! Oh yeah, I wrecked the van on Saturday the 27th down in Louisville. No one was hurt so that is good.
April 19th - Vanessa and Starlit took another trip. This one for business as they went to Cleveland for an intense teacher training workshop with the Mark O'Connor violin method. and they had a wonderful but exhausting time. Jasper and I went with the younger kids to Thunder on Saturday. BTW, that is the official kickoff of 2 weeks leading up to the Kentucky Derby, with an air show and North Americas largest fireworks show. All-in-all pretty tiring but a good time was had. We have had really nice weather and lawn mowing has begun in earnest. I am still amazed at how things grow down here. Zion caught a bull frog and is keeping it in a habitat he made, I told him he could keep it a few days. He tried, but failed to catch a water snake, but trying and seeing is half the fun I suppose. He has enjoyed the microscope he received for his birthday, another nice gift from Tom & Judy and has been looking at everything he can think of.
April 26th - Rain on the weekend of course but we sure needed it. Now it will be sit back and watch the grass grow! The kids are loving the weather and are outside all the time. The kids had a lot of fun with bubbles one day and we got some good pictures. Vanessa posted some on her Face book. Starlit also went to the home school prom with a friend and posted a lot of pictures on her Face book.
