April 3rd - Well, we lost an hours sleep this weekend (actually more than that but the hour because of the clock change) the rest because of calf problems.  At 11:00 PM Saturday we had a cow that had problems so we ended up having to take her down to the vet and everything turned out fine!  Got home at 3:00 AM so was a little tired.  Nick & Holly's little girl turns 4 today and we celebrated yesterday.  Of course Starlit turns 8 on the 7th and Zion will be one year old on the 10th!  Hard to believe that the time goes by so fast.   All I can say is that I am so grateful to God for His blessing - protection - and unmerited grace!

April 10th - Birthdays - Starlit is 8 - Zion is 1 - we had unexpected company due to unexpected events.  John had been very sick with strep and the flu and then on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning he had 2 heart attacks!  He is only 36 and in pretty good shape so it was quite a scare.  He had a small artery that was over 70% blocked.  He is home and pretty tired so prayers for him are appreciated.  Now back to the company - Don & Val and family came down to see John (and the rest of us got to see them too!) so Starlit had extras for her birthday!  Zion did not know quite what to make of his birthday - having a whole piece of cake all to himself and all.  Lots of excitement all in all.

April 16th - I am updating this Sunday night as tomorrow bright and early I head to St Cloud MN for 3 days.  I am going to the Minnesota state Police Chiefs convention to sell our product!  We have a booth and are ready to go so please pray for Gods will to be done!  John is feeling better.  We got 3 - 4 inches of rain/snow on Friday morning so it was fun driving to work.  We did need the moisture though.

April 24th - What a week!  The weather has been very nice.  The cantata went well.  It was a lot of fun singing with Hollis.  John is still feeling tired and Janice is struggling with more kidney stones so please continue to lift them up in their prayers.  The convention was quite interesting and we made some good contacts.  Operating at the speed of government though is quite an interesting concept.  We did have the nicest booth there!  Today is our anniversary!  God is so good and faithful to us.  To Him be the glory!
